He's just suffering from what is called liberal-feeling syndrome. Just to prove that he's liberal, he's proving that both parties are to blame. This is like congress party. To prove that they are equal to both Hindus and Muslims, they dont hang Afzal, and try to incriminate any Hindu they can. Anyway, I dont expect him to make any intelligent comments.
